I have to say I haven’t thought much about the tables in our home. They are truly the silent witness to our daily ordinaries. They hold up our hands, our nourishment and gather us together. When I went looking at pictures of the tables we sit at I assumed I’d post a picture of our dining room or kitchen ones. But the photos that made me grin were not those, rather the tables we take with us and seek out so that we can be together as a family when we are out of our home. Tables are family, friendship, food & fun!

My favorite photo is the one of your girls in their pink outfits sitting in their camp chairs at a portable table—absolutely precious! They look so relaxed and carefree–all is right with the world aura.
And of course most of us know how handy a table a cooler can be—it’s also a great seat!:>)
I love the improvised cooler-table! I do that at the beach.
