Corner view is a weekly Wednesday gathering, originally hosted by Jane, now by Francesca. A topic is given and you can see impressions; be it photographic or writerly in form, from around the world. Come see the world’s corner view via the links on the sidebar!
I think my inner child has been playing hide-and-seek for the last decade or so- but in the last year- I’ve had many happy experiences that remind me of the happiness of childhood- running, reading, giggling, playing make-believe, drawing, exploring….now that my girls are moving their way out of the intensive baby years I seem to be able to relax and enjoy both my time with them and my time that’s just for myself much, much more.
Looks like you’ve been having a lot of fun! You’ll remember those day always. The photo of the snow sledding reminded me of one our funner times. We had a hill near our house and we’d all trek over to it. We even had a dog that would lie in my arms and sled down with us! :>) I esp. love that last photo of you laughing with the girls holding on to you.
i have very similar feelings about the “early years” as you do – too hard/busy to keep afloat to enjoy them! glad you’re now at a stage when you can also find some time for yourself.
Happy images!
at my teenage time i did not wanted to be with my inner child, than i grew up…and i did!!
creativity helps me!
happy photo’s here!
As always you have wonderful pictures of fun moments with your children. Beautiful.
Love the collection of photos! I felt a little like you in that my inner child is usually put aside in order to be there for everyone else. Have a great summer!
Happy children (but where is the Mum 😉 ?)
I’m in the thick of the early years now. I can’t wait till things calm down a little!
